'Element Copy Transformations' (enabling Drag/Rotate/Mirror-a-Copy commands)

This document will explain how to enable the Drag/Rotate/Mirror-a-Copy commands which are not set as default under new installations of ArchiCAD 8.0 or 8.1. By enabling one of the Preferences, these commands will be available in the Edit Menu and on the right click menu when an object is selected.

To enable these commands – select Options> Preferences> Miscellaneous…

Click the check box next to ‘Show Element Copy Transformation Commands inEdit Menu’ and then press OK. You will now have access to Drag/Rotate/Mirror-a-copy in the Edit and right click menus as in previous versions of ArchiCAD.

Please note: the new functions in ArchiCAD 8.0/8.1 for copy and multiple copy (Ctrl/Ctrl+Alt or Apple/Apple+Alt) are still available.
